Catalyst events are performed by DJ Analogue and VJ Caligari. With Victoria having a complete lack of alternative clubs, Catalyst was started in July, 2008 as an all-aged event with dark alternative music and original live video mixing.

Catalyst runs the first Saturday of every month at the Bayanihan Community Centre at the corner of Blanchard and Fisgard.
